Xiaomi has announced a major milestone in its production of electric vehicles, delivering more than 10,000 SU7 vehicles in September, marking the fourth consecutive month that the company has reached this figure. Although the exact number of shipments has not been disclosed, the company has confirmed that it has surpassed the 10,000 unit mark.
Xiaomi initially aimed to deliver 100,000 SU7 models in end of 2024
In response to this, Xiaomi has updated its delivery target to 120,000 SU7 units and plans to deliver more than 20,000 vehicles in October alone.
Xiaomi’s SU7
the company plans to unveil another model, a new SU7 variant with an SUV design, further expanding its range and responding to the growing demand for electric vehicles (EV).
Following the sighting of Xiaomi’s SU7 Max electric vehicle at Karachi port, sources have confirmed that Airlink is preparing to launch an electric car in Pakistan. The base variant of the SU7 is priced at ¥215,900 (roughly Rs. 8.5 million), placing it in the luxury vehicle segment in Pakistan.
However, due to the limited local market for high-end electric vehicles, Airlink can focus on exporting the vehicle to global right-hand drive markets, replicating the strategies of companies such as Changan and Master Motors.
The Xiaomi SU7 competes with industry giants like BYD and Tesla in China and is expected to debut in Pakistan soon. This development marks an important step for Airlink as it diversifies its business beyond mobile phones into the growing electric vehicle sector.
